6A MVP Chooses Williams
The Williams Baptist College Lady Eagles volleyball team has received a signed commitment from Harley Strayhorn of Marion, Ark. Strayhorn is the reigning class 6A most valuable player of the state tournament.

She will graduate in May from Marion High School. She is the daughter of Mickey and Holly Strayhorn of Marion.
Strayhorn was a 6’2’’ middle blocker for the Patriots, and her distinguished high school career includes two state championships. She has also been voted to the All-State team, All-Conference team, and Best of Preps squad.
“The WBC campus is pretty and everyone is so friendly,” said Strayhorn, who also spoke of her delight in extending her career to the next level.
Williams’ volleyball finished the 2011 season with a 27-9 record.
Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge. The Lady Eagles compete in the AMC of the NAIA.
