All-State Guard Commits to Lady Eagles


Alisha Stone of Blytheville, Ark. has signed her commitment to play basketball at Williams Baptist College.  She will graduate in May from Blytheville High School and enroll in the fall at WBC.

Stone earned All-Conference as a junior and All-State as a senior for the Chickasaws.  She will be joining a Lady Eagles team that won 17 games last season and finished third in the American Midwest Conference.

Stone is the daughter of Stevie Murph of Fort Myers, Fla., and Dorothy Stone of Blytheville.  

Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge. The Lady Eagles are affiliated with the NAIA.
