Baseball Gets Commitment Out of Memphis


Coach Frank Lee and the Eagle baseball program have signed a player out of Memphis, Tenn.  Mitchell Wallace is a graduate of Cordova High School. 

Wallace is the son of Ray and Kim Wallace of Memphis. 

Wallace will be a pitcher for the Eagles, as well as a utility player.  His awards include the 2011 Cordova Wolves Baseball Coaches Award.   Also, he hit his way close to a .300 batting average his final year of high school.

Wallace is the 27th signee for Lee’s 2011 recruiting class.

Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge. The Eagles compete in the American Midwest Conference of the NAIA.
