Baseball Picks up JUCO Commitment


Jim Manney has decided to transfer from Shawnee Community College to play his final two years of college baseball at Williams Baptist College. 

Manney is 6’1’’ and plays first base.  His honors include being selected all-conference in the 7A Central region in 2008 and 2009.  He will be returning to his home state to finish his collegiate career.  He played high school ball at Little Rock Central High School. 

He is the son of Pat and Amber Manney of Little Rock, Ark. 

Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge. The Eagles compete in the American Midwest Conference of the NAIA.
