Basketball Teams Get Lopsided Wins
The Williams Baptist College men were at home Saturday, Nov. 20, hosting a game against St. Louis College of Pharmacy, while the Lady Eagles went on the road to play Baptist Bible College. Both WBC teams recorded lopsided victories.
Eagles 75, St. Louis CoP 36
Every player that suited up for Williams got in the game Saturday, as the Eagles jumped to a comfortable lead early and never relinquished it. WBC had a 36-18 lead at halftime, which they expanded to a 75-36 final score.
Marcus Massey was the leading scorer for Williams with 16, followed by Garrett Southerland with 15. Logan Chappell had 11, and Kyle Harvey added 10. Jake Smith was the leading rebounder with seven, followed by Chappell, who had six.
The Eagles are now 3-4. They host Central Baptist Monday, Nov. 22, at 7:00 p.m.
Lady Eagles 93, BBC 35
The Lady Eagles defeated Baptist Bible College 93-35 Saturday afternoon in Springfield, Mo. With the victory, the Lady Eagles moved to 5-1 on the season.
Cheyenne Childers scored 13 points, and Rachel Looney chipped in 10.
The next home game for the Lady Eagles will be Dec. 7, when they host BBC at 7:00 p.m.
