Brandon Easterling/Baseball

Pea Ridge, Ark., product Brandon Easterling is headed to Williams Baptist College to continue his baseball career. Easterling, a 2010 graduate of Pea Ridge High School, recently signed his commitment to play for the Eagles.

Easterling, a pitcher and third baseman, was an all-state and All-Northwest Arkansas selection. He was 7-2 on the mound this year with a team-leading 2.22 ERA and 74 strikeouts. He also had a .338 batting average.

He is the son of Joel and Cindy Easterling. Taking part in his signing were his parents, PRHS head coach John King and PRHS assistant coach Matt Easterling.

Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge. The baseball Eagles are coached by John Katrosh, and they compete in the American Midwest Conference of the NAIA.
