Brooks Signs with Williams
Callie Brooks signed a commitment to play softball for the Williams Baptist College Lady Eagles on Wednesday afternoon. Brooks had a large group of friends, family, and future teammates on hand for the signing.

Brooks will graduate from Buffalo Island Central High School in May. She will enroll at WBC in the fall of 2012.
“We are thrilled with Callie’s commitment. She will be a tremendous asset to our program on and off the field,” said Head Coach Eric Newell.
Brooks has had a distinguished high school career with numerous honors and awards, including all-state, all-state tournament, all-conference and a state championship. She has also made the 18U Germantown gold team, as well as two years on the Germantown 16U gold squad.
“We are excited to have Callie joining our program,” Assistant Coach Joe Baldwin said, “We believe she brings a lot to the table, and will contribute to continuing the success we have sustained at Williams.”
Williams has won the last two regular season American Midwest Conference championships, and will start their quest for a third in February.
She is from Blytheville, Ark. She is the daughter of Rob and Michelle Brooks of Monette, Ark.
Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge. The Eagles compete in the American Midwest Conference of the NAIA.
