Caspall to be Guest Speaker at WBC
Dr. Vickie Caspall, the CEO of the Center for Pediatric Neuroscience at Walnut Ridge, will present this year’s Mondy-Carroll Lecture at Williams Baptist College. The address is scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, at 7:00 p.m.
Caspall’s lecture, “The Mystery and Miracle of the Brain,” will focus on her drive to help children and adults unlock the mystery of the brain and reveal the miracle of meeting their potential.
She has a master’s degree in pharmacology from Farleigh Dickinson University and she holds a doctorate in neuropsychology from the University of Houston. She is a board certified neuropsychologist and a pediatric neuroscientist.
Caspall specializes in traumatic brain injury, genetics, autism, learning disabilities and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
The Mondy-Carroll Lectureship, which deals with the natural sciences, was endowed by the late Dr. Nell Mondy of Ithaca, N.Y. Mondy was a Pocahontas, Ark., native who named the lectureship in honor of several late relatives from the Pocahontas and Walnut Ridge area.
The lecture will take place in room 101 of WBC’s Sloan Center. There is no entry fee and the public is encouraged to attend.
