Children's Ministry Speaker at WBC

Children's ministry expert Allison Kizzia will be speaking at Williams Baptist College on Monday, Feb. 4. Kizzia works with the Arkansas Baptist State Convention as a consultant for preschool and children's ministry.

Walter Norvell, WBC assistant professor of Christian ministries, said he is excited to have Kizzia on Campus. "A number of our students are interested in ministry with children and many churches want to improve their work with children. I believe her speaking will further equip those students and friends in the community," he noted.

Kizzia will lead two sessions while on campus. The first will cover faith development with preschoolers and children and will be at 8:00 a.m. in the Maddox Center, room 201.

At noon, Kizzia will further address issues concerning children's ministry. The second session will be in the Moody Room of the Mabee-Gwinup Cafeteria. Those attending the second session are welcome to get a cafeteria tray and take it into the Moody Room for lunch.

Students, faculty, staff and off-campus guests are invited. There is no cost to attend the lectures.
