Harvest Fest Set is Tonight

10/11/2010

The annual Harvest Fest celebration will be Wednesday, Oct. 27th, at Williams Baptist College. Harvest Fest has become a popular attraction for local children and church groups, and many participants come in their costumes.

The festival will be held in WBC’s Carter Field House from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Admission is free, and tickets for games and activities can be purchased at the door with money or with a donation of canned goods.

Participants will receive four tickets per canned food item or they can purchase four tickets for $1, according to Josh Goza, director of campus ministries at Williams. Children are asked to have their cans counted before they arrive to speed up the entry process.

Williams students operate the games and activities at Harvest Fest. Canned goods will go to the Lawrence County Food Bank, while cash proceeds will go toward the spring break mission trip for WBC students.
