Harvey Gets Second Player of the Week Nod
The American Midwest Conference has selected Kyle Harvey of Williams Baptist College as its men's basketball Player of the Week. It is the second such honor this season for the WBC sophomore.
Harvey, a forward from Corning, Ark., played a huge role in the Eagles' 72-70 overtime upset victory over then-No. 17 Park University. Harvey dropped in a game-high 32 points and added nine rebounds. He was 14-of-21 from the field in the contest Saturday.
For the week, Harvey averaged 22 points and 7.5 rebounds per contest. Harvey currently leads the AMC in scoring at 21.5 points per outing. He is also averaging 7.1 rebounds per game and is shooting an AMC-best 55.7 percent from the field.
He is the son of Kyle & Virginia Harvey of Corning.
