Homecoming-Parents Day is Saturday
A big crowd is expected to converge on the Williams Baptist College campus Saturday, Nov. 5, for the annual Homecoming-Parents Day celebration. Events will take place all day, with a range of activities planned for WBC alumni, parents and other friends of the college.
The schedule of events includes:
10:00 a.m. - Alumni Soccer Game at WBC Soccer Field. All former WBC soccer players are invited to participate in the alumni soccer game. Contact Head Coach Shane Stolz at firstname.lastname@example.org or (870)-759-5165 for more details.
11:00 a.m. - Alumni Baseball Game at Shell Field. All former Eagles baseball players are invited. Contact Head Coach Frank Lee at email@example.com or (870)-759-4192.
11:00 a.m. - The Cast and Williams Singers' perform in Manley Chapel.
11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. - Student Art Exhibit in the Maddox Center Gallery.
11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. - Festival and Lunch on Midkiff Lawn. Activities are planned for the whole family. There will be inflatable games for all ages, children's crafts, face art, a rock climbing wall and more. Lunch will also be available for those who want to eat on the lawn.
1:30 - 3:00 p.m. - Faculty & Administration Reception for Alumni and Parents in the Rose Room of Southerland-Mabee Center. The reception provides a chance to chat with professors, as well as other parents or alumni. The Rose Room is located on the second floor of the SMC, overlooking the basketball courts.
2:00 p.m. - Lady Eagles vs. Ecclessia in the Southerland-Mabee Center.
3:30 p.m. - Homecoming Coronation in the SMC.
4:00 p.m. - Eagles vs. Ecclessia in the SMC.
6:00 - 8:00 p.m. - 1961-1963 Reunion Reception in Moody Dining Room. This informal gathering is for the 1961-63 classes, along with all basketball players who played for Coach Jake Shambarger. Also, a hospitality room will be set up for this group in SMC Room 202 during the ball games. For more information contact Doyle Price at (870) 825-2526.
