Kelsey Devault, a standout volleyball player at Mineral Area College, has committed to play for Williams Baptist College starting next year. Devault signed her letter of intent this week to transfer to WBC.

Devault, who is from Farmington, Mo., played two years as a defensive specialist at Mineral Area, which is a junior college in Missouri, and helped guide the team to a 27-9 record in 2009. She accumulated 684 digs this year and led all junior college Division I volleyball players nationally in digs per set with an average of 7.05.
“Kelsey is an extremely talented defensive player who has extreme precision in her defensive skills as well as her serving,” said Williams volleyball coach Eric Newell.
Devault has been an honor student at Mineral Area, and she intends to major in education at WBC. She is the daughter of Blaine and Jenny Devault of Farmington.
Taking part in her signing ceremony at MAC were her mother, Newell and Mineral Area coach Tim Copeland.
