Master’Singers to Perform at Williams
The Master’Singers, a choir composed of music directors and other musicians from across the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, will perform at Williams Baptist College on Thursday, March 31. The group will present its Festival of Song program in WBC’s Manley Chapel in 7:00 p.m.
The performance will include a very large choir and orchestra, with about 120 singers and instrumentalists, according to Larry Grayson, who directs the Master’Singers. The choir will perform mixed, with both male and female voices, and it will also do numbers with the men and women singing separately.
"We perform an eclectic collection of worship songs ranging from traditional anthems to contemporary pieces," Grayson noted. "One song even involves a drum line, and we will feature drummers from the Walnut Ridge, Hoxie and Pocahontas high school bands."
The performance is free of charge, and the public is encouraged to attend.
