Quarles to Play Baseball for Eagles

Ethan Quarles, a pitcher and infielder from Millington, Tenn., will continue his baseball career at Williams Baptist College. Quarles recently signed his commitment with the Eagles.

Quarles, a 2011 honor graduate from Millington High School, had a .384 batting average this season and led the team in extra base hits, RBI’s and runs scored.

He was also a member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Foreign Language, and he attends First Baptist Church in Millington.

He is the son of Ginger Whitaker of Millington and Jim Quarles of Drummonds, Tenn.

Williams is a 4-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge. The Eagles compete in the American Midwest Conference of the NAIA.
