Reynolds Signs with Eagles Baseball


Williams Baptist College has picked up a commitment from Newport Greyhound pitcher Michael Reynolds.  Reynolds signed his commitment with the baseball Eagles on Wednesday, February 1.  

Reynolds has been a three sport star at Newport High School.  He has been a starter in football, basketball, and baseball.  He was an All-State selection in football, and he has been named All-Conference twice for baseball.

He has compiled ten wins and eight saves in his career.  Also, in 2011 he hit .450 with 12 runs batted in.  His on-base percentage was .556, and he added 13 stolen bases and three doubles.

He is the son of Bryan and Tina Reynolds of Beedeville, Ark.  

Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge. The Eagles compete in the American Midwest Conference of the NAIA.
