Spring Baseball Camp is Saturday
The Williams Baptist College baseball team will host its annual spring semester camp on Saturday, Feb. 11. The camp, which is open to boys ages 8-15, will feature a morning session that focuses on hitting skills and an afternoon session for fielding drills.
Due to cold weather in the forecast, both sessions will be held in WBC's Carter Fieldhouse.
The hitting session will run from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, while the fielding session will be from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Cost will be $25 for one session or $50 for the whole day. There is a $10 per person discount for families with multiple members participating.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. the day of the camp.
The camp curriculum will include fundamentals in hitting, throwing, fielding and catching. Participants should bring their own glove, bat and batting gloves, and they should wear baseball pants.
The camp is organized by WBC head coach Frank Lee and will be taught by the coaching staff and members of the Eagles team. For information on the camp or to reserve a spot, contact Lee at (870) 637-4034 or email@example.com, or assistant coach Andy Arnold at (501) 681-7402 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
