Standley Named Mr. WBC

Tylor Standley of Marked Tree, Ark., is the new Mr. Williams Baptist College. Standley was crowned Monday night at the conclusion of the annual Mr. WBC competition, held in the college’s Southerland-Mabee Center.
Standley, a sophomore, is the son of Jeff and Julie Standley of Marked Tree.
First runner-up was Daniel McCormick of Lake City, Ark. McCormick, a freshman, was also voted Mr. Congeniality by his fellow contestants. He is the son of Derek and Pat McCormick.
Second runner-up was Micah Dixon of Conway, Ark. Dixon is a freshman, and he is the son of Kent and Karol Dixon.
Third runner-up was Bobby Wheeler, Jr., of Marion, Ark. Wheeler is a sophomore and the son of Bobby and Teresa Wheeler.
Nine contestants took part in the competition. The winner was crowned by Williams President Dr. Jerol Swaim and 2009 Mr. WBC, Daniel Ring.
