WBC Soccer Loses Home Contest to Columbia

Williams hosted Columbia College in an American Midwest Conference soccer match Friday. WBC fell to the Cougars, 7-1.

The Eagles were slow out of the gate as the Cougars jumped out to a 3-0 lead at halftime. Things didn't go much better in second half, as the Cougars outscored WBC 4-1. The lone Eagle goal came off the boot of Jorge Mojica. With the goal, Mojica moved into a league-leading tie with 10 goals on the season.

Williams moves to 3-5-1 overall and 0-2 in AMC play. The Eagles have two home games on the pitch this week, hosting Hillsdale College on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. and AMC member Hannibal-LaGrange on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
