Ward Signs WBC Volleyball Team

Jameea Ward from L.V. Hightower High School in Missouri City, Tex., has signed to play volleyball for the Williams Baptist College Lady Eagles next season.
Ward, a 5’10” front row player, is capable of playing all three front row positions, according to WBC Head Coach Eric Newell. She has played on her varsity team for two years and served as a team captain during her senior year.
Academically, Ward was named Academic All-District during this past season.
She participated with the Westside Wrangles Volleyball Club last season and is a member of the Fort Bend Fire Elite Volleyball Club at the present time.
At the recent signing, Newell commented, “Jameea is an outstanding volleyball player, a genuine person, and a very gifted student. I was impressed with Jameea on and off the volleyball court and I have no doubt that she will be very successful at the collegiate level.”
Jameea is the daughter of Alexine Ward and James Ward of Missouri City.
Williams is a four year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge, Ark. The Eagles compete in the American Midwest Conference of the NAIA.
