WBC Honors Faculty & Administration for Service

Seven members of the faculty and administration at Williams Baptist College have been honored for reaching milestones of service to the school. They were recognized at WBC’s annual Academic Awards Banquet March 12th
Jerry Gibbens was honored for achieving 45 years of service to Williams. Gibbens is a professor of English and chair of the division of arts and sciences at WBC.
Dr. David Midkiff was recognized for 25 years at the college. Midkiff is chair of the Williams art department.
Honored for 15 years at WBC were Summer DeProw, Dr. Todd Ewing, Barbara Turner and Dr. Eric Turner. DeProw chairs the Williams business department, and Ewing is chair of the history department. Barbara Turner is director of financial aid, while Eric Turner is vice president for institutional advancement.
And Dr. Brad Baine, who heads the Williams Teacher Education Program, was recognized for five years of service.
Dr. Jerol Swaim, WBC’s president, presented awards to all of the honorees.
