Williams Hosts Ouachita


The Williams Baptist College basketball team will host Ouachita Baptist University Monday evening for the men’s first contest of 2012.  The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. 

Williams has a record of four wins and six losses on the season, while OBU’s record stands at six wins and three losses.  The two teams met on December 17, and OBU won by the score of 91-78. 

Williams is led by Kyle Harvey who averages 20.30 points per game, which leads the American Midwest Conference and ranks 18th in the NAIA.  Zabian Sanders is the second leading scorer at 13.30 points per game.  

OBU is lead by Austin Mitchell who averages 15.7 points per contest.  The second leading scorer for the Tigers is Emmanuel Engulu at 13.2 per contest.
