Williams PBL Attends Walnut Ridge High School FBLA Event


Six Williams Baptist College Phi Beta Lambda members attended Walnut Ridge High School’s Future Business Leaders of America pizza party on Tuesday, Feb. 12.  The event kicked of FBLA-PBL week at WRHS.

National FBLA-PBL week annually occurs the second full week of February.  Chapters are encouraged to publicize their activities and successes, boost membership and prepare for other spring activities during this week.

Curtis Jackson, a WBC junior and graduate of WRHS said, “As an alumni of Walnut Ridge High School, it is great to see so many future business leaders joining FBLA.  I appreciate them inviting me back to speak about my experience with PBL and I look forward to seeing some of them in the fall.”

Heather Parson, assistant professor of business at Williams, and WBC students Morgan Hatcher, Hannah Hodges, Curtis Jackson, Jeff Manuel, Rebecca Schuttger and Matthew Schweri attended the event.  Fifty-four Walnut Ridge FBLA members were also present.
