Phi Beta Lambda, a society for business students at Williams Baptist College, has elected its officers for the 2011-12 school year. The group selected Patrick Corder as president, Matthew Schweri as vice president and Laure Beltzer as secretary.
Corder, who will be a senior next year, is from Smithville, Ark. He is married to Jessica Corder, and he is the son of Stephen and Patricia Corder of Smithville.
Schweri, who will be a junior, is from Walnut Ridge. He is married to Dunia Rodriguez, and he is the son of Billy and Tina Graham of Bonnerdale, Ark.
Beltzer, who will be a sophomore, is from Arcambal, France. She is the daughter of Bruno and Agnes Beltzer of Arcambal.
Phi Beta Lambda is the collegiate branch of Future Business Leaders of America. It provides a network for business students to pursue personal development and explore career options in the business field, as well as providing an outlet for community service.
Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge. Bachelor’s degrees offered through the WBC business department include business administration, computer information science and finance.
