Williams Presents Faculty Service Awards

Williams Baptist College has honored members of its faculty and administrative staff for achieving milestones of service this year. The employees were presented service awards during WBC’s annual Academic Awards Banquet on Thursday, April 7.

Dr. Gary Gregory was honored for 20 years of service with Williams. Gregory is associate professor of psychology and director of counseling at Williams.

Recognized for 15 years of service was Jeff Rider, who is director of athletics.

Honored for five years at the college were Dr. Melissa Hobbs and Eric Newell. Hobbs is assistant professor of biology, while Newell is head coach of the volleyball and softball teams.

Dr. Jerol Swaim, WBC’s president, presented the awards. All of those honored received service pins reflecting their length of tenure.
