Williams Receives Bank of Pocahontas Gift

The Bank of Pocahontas has made a gift toward scholarships and a recent building project at Williams Baptist College. The donation will be divided between WBC’s annual scholarship fund and the recently completed Manley Chapel.
Carol Belford-Lewallen, vice president at the Bank of Pocahontas, presented the gift Monday to Dr. Eric Turner, vice president for institutional advancement at WBC.
"Loyal supporters like the Bank of Pocahontas make Christian higher education possible for many students," Turner commented. "Their generosity toward our annual scholarship fund and our beautiful new chapel is deeply appreciated."
Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge.
