Williams Remains Closed Thursday, March 6
Ice that is clinging stubbornly to roadways has led Williams Baptist College to remain closed Thursday, March 6. A thick layer of sleet from Sunday’s winter storm has created travel headaches throughout the region, and weather has not allowed sufficient thawing.
Classes are dismissed and administrative offices are closed Thursday. Essential personnel should contact their supervisors for further instructions.
Physical plant employees have worked diligently through the week to remove the thick ice from sidewalks at WBC, but both walking and driving remain dangerous. Pedestrians and drivers are asked to use extreme caution.
