Williams Students Inducted into Mu Phi Epsilon
Three students have been inducted into the Zeta Alpha chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon International Music Fraternity at Williams Baptist College. The inductees are Hannah Allison of Maumelle, Kindalh Mayfield of Concord, and Hannah Wells of Marion. The induction was held on April 24.
Mu Phi Epsilon is a coeducational, professional music fraternity founded in 1903. A primary purpose of Mu Phi Epsilon is to advance music in the community, with special emphasis on service through music. The Zeta Alpha chapter at Williams is the 200th chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon and the only chapter in the state of Arkansas.
Allison, who will be a junior at Williams, is majoring in music education. She is the daughter of Michael and Vicki Allison of Maumelle.
Mayfield, who will be a senior at Williams, is majoring in psychology. She is the daughter of Tim and Marilyn Mayfield of Concord.
Wells, who will be a junior at Williams, is majoring in music education. She is the daughter of Gordon and Phyllis Wells of Marion.
Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge. The WBC Department of Music offers bachelor’s degrees in music, music education and church music.
