How to Receive a Scholarship from Williams
1. Complete the Application for Admission, which also serves as our Scholarship Application.

2. Graduating Seniors: Send us an official high school transcript and ACT or SAT score.
Transfer Students: Send us official transcripts from all colleges you have attended in the past.

3. After receiving all your credentials (Application for Admission and Scholarships, transcripts, and ACT or SAT score) we will evaluate your documents and contact you within one week to inform you of your possible academic scholarship award.


Scholarship With Honors Program
Students with a ACT of 28 or higher and a minimum high school GPA of 3.25 are eligible to compete for the following scholarships within the Williams Scholarship with Honors Program:

TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP
At least one applicant will be chosen each year to receive full tuition, room, and board. The recipient of the Trustee Scholarship must maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA.

INMAN SCHOLARSHIP
At least one applicant will be chosen this year to receive a $5,500 scholarship per semester.

FOUNDER'S SCHOLARSHIP
A select group of recipients will receive a $5,000 scholarship per semester.

HERITAGE SCHOLARSHIP
A select group of recipients will receive a $4,000 scholarship per semester.

PRESIDENT'S ELITE SCHOLARSHIP
A select group of recipients will receive a $3,000 scholarship per semester.


NOTE: Two reference forms are required and made available to the applicant once he or she is accepted for admission. (One recommendation is required from a teacher or administrator; one recommendation is required from a pastor or church leader). Scholarship award notifications will be mailed beginning January 20, 2009.


Other Academic/Leadership Opportunities
PRESIDENT'S SELECT SCHOLARSHIP
If you have an ACT of 26-27 and a high school GPA of 3.25, or you are Valedictorian of your HS class, you are eligible for the President's Select Scholarship, which is worth $2,500 per semester for 4 years.

PRESIDENT'S SCHOLARSHIP
If you have an ACT of 24-25 and a high school GPA of 3.0, or you are Salutatorian of your HS class, you are eligible for the President's Scholarship, which is worth $2,000 per semester for 4 years.

DEAN'S SCHOLARSHIP
If you have an ACT of 22-23 and a high school GPA of 2.75, OR if you are in the top 10% of your high school class, then you are eligible for the Dean's Scholarship which is worth $1,500 per semester for 4 years.

LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP
If you have an ACT of 19-21, a high school GPA of 2.25, and leadership abilities, then you are eligible for the Leadership Scholarship which is worth $1,000 per semester for 4 years.


Church-Related Opportunities
CHURCH MATCHING & CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
If you are active in your church, you are eligible for the Church Matching Scholarship OR the Christian Foundation Scholarship. The Church Matching Scholarship is worth up to $400 per semester for 4 years. WBC will match donations from your church evenly.

The Christian Foundation Scholarship is worth up to $3,000 per semester for 4 years. WBC will match $1 for every $2 from your church.

BAPTIST ASSOCIATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP
If you are a high school senior or transfer, you are eligible for the Baptist Associational Scholarship, which is worth $250 per semester for 1 year.

MINISTERIAL DEPENDENT SCHOLARSHIP
If you are a dependent child of a Southern Baptist minister and a full-time student, you are eligible for the Ministerial Dependent Scholarship, which is worth $400 per semester for 4 years.

MINISTERIAL SCHOLARSHIP
If you are ordained or licensed by a Southern Baptist Church, you are eligible for the Ministerial Scholarship, which is worth $825 per semester for 4 years.

CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP
If you are attending a Christian high school, you are eligible for the Christian High School Scholarship, which is worth $250 per semester for 1 year.


Performance Opportunities
WILLIAMS SINGERS SCHOLARSHIP
If you are selected by vocal audition, you are eligible for the Williams Singers Scholarship, which is worth varying amounts for 4 years.

MUSIC TALENTSHIP SCHOLARSHIP
If you are a music major recommended by Chair of the Music Department, you are eligible for the Music Talentship Scholarship, which is worth varying amounts for 4 years.

ART SCHOLARSHIP
If you are selected, after review of your portfolio, by the Chair of the Art Department, you are eligible for the Art Scholarship, which is worth varying amounts for 4 years.

ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP
If you are offered a scholarship position by the head coach, you are eligible for the Athletic Scholarship, which is worth varying amounts for 4 years.

ACTEENS SCHOLARSHIP
If you have received the Acteens Service Award, you are eligible for the Acteens Scholarship, which is worth varying amounts for 4 years.


Combination Opportunities
MISSIONARY DEPENDENT SCHOLARSHIP
If you are a dependent of a Southern Baptist missionary, you are eligible for Missionary Dependent Scholarship, which is worth tuition, room and board for 4 years.


Scholarships Available for Transfer Students
SUMMIT SCHOLARSHIP
Pays up to $2,000 per semester for students from Arkansas Northeastern College, Arkansas State University-Newport, Black River Technical College, Crowley's Ridge College, East Arkansas Community College, Ozarka College or University of Arkansas Community College in Batesville with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on 45 hours of college credit from those institutions.

PHI THETA KAPPA SCHOLARSHIP
Pays up to $500 per semester for full-time students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa and have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on 24 hours of transferable college credit.

Students must enroll immediately following two-year college. Part-time students and students with previous bachelor's degrees are not eligible.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP
Pays up to $1,500 per semester for students living in college housing and $1,200 per semester for commuter students who have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on 24 hours of college credit.

INSTITUTIONAL GRANT
Pays up to $500 per semester for students living in college housing and $350 per semester for commuter students who have a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on 24 hours of college credit.

OTHER OPTIONS
Students with fewer than 24 hours of college credit will be reviewed for awards based on their combined high school grades, college performance, and test scores.

You may also qualify for a wide range of federal and/or state-sponsored financial awards, including grants, low interest educational loans, or college work-study.
