Growing in Christ, Connecting to His Church, and Serving His World                                   

Campus Ministries exists to see students connect and grow in their relationship with Christ and be equipped to serve others in the name of Christ.  This is carried out in a variety of ways including discipleship, corporate praise and worship, and various mission opportunities to fellow students, faculty, staff, surrounding communities and beyond. 

Our vision is to see students living a life that glorifies God.

Josh McCarty, Director of Campus Ministries (aka Campus Minister)
 

Josh is originally from Huntsville, Ark.  He graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a bachelor's degree in biblical studies. He has a master's degree in theology from B.H. Carroll Theological Institute. Josh loves discipling college students and desires to see them become disciple makers! Josh also enjoys the outdoors and doing things like backpacking, mountain biking, and camping, and he enjoys spending time with his family.  He and his wife, Jill, have 4 children, Cason, Paxton, Kinsley, and Paisley. They all love watching WBC sports.  Go Eagles!



Mekenzie Hada, Student Assistant of Campus Ministries

MeKenzie hails from the small town of Yellville, AR. She is currently a student at WBC and will graduate in the Spring with a bachelor's in Christian Ministries. She loves growing with fellow believers and pressing each other on towards Christ-likeness. MeKenzie has a heart for reaching the nations with the Gospel and spent a semester of her college career in India serving with the International Mission Board. She loves being a part of campus life and considers the WBC faculty and students her family. Apart from campus, MeKenzie enjoys spending the majority of her time fly fishing, kayaking, hiking, cooking, and sewing. She loves getting to know students one-on-one and is always up to chat over coffee!
