The patron is responsible to return items to the FGL Circulation Desk or to the FGL Book Bank on or before the due date. Items may not be renewed unless the patron's Library account is clear. Fines are calculated after the item has been returned and checked in.
Borrowers are responsible for returning all materials checked out in their name on time and in good condition. Borrowers are liable for replacement cost at a minimum of $72.00 per item. Items are considered "lost" when overdue 50 or more days. At the end of each semester all overdue materials must be returned and all fines and fees paid before the Registrar or Business Office will issue exam passes , graduation privileges, or transcripts, or permit future registration. Damaged or Lost items
Damaged or lost items will be assessed a minimum replacement fee of $72.00 per item. Items of substantial value will be assessed at the currently listed replacement cost plus a $15.00 processing fee. All charges must be paid before borrowing privileges will be restored. If lost materials are later found and returned to the Library after the replacement cost has been paid, the borrower may be entitled to a partial refund.
Overdue and Fines Notices
Notice of overdue items and outstanding fines are issued throughout the semester to the patron's WBC email address and/or to the WBC mail box or to the community patron's permanent address. Please note that fines cannot be calculated before the item is actually checked in. Fines do not accumulate after item check-in, but are due until paid. Library accounts must be cleared as soon as possible before the end of the semester. See Patron Accountability.
